I bought Vectorize on my iPhone / iPad, can I also use the app on my Mac?
Yes, Vectorize is an Apple Universal purchase, you can also install and use the app on your Mac after purchase.
You can find the app with your purchases, simply click on your account at the bottom left on the Mac App Store and install it by clicking on the blue cloud icon.
Error message: "App is damaged” – what should I do?
You tried to launch your app and just received the error message, the app “XY is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete XY and download it again from the App Store”? This is unfortunately a Mac App Store issue which has been around since the App Store launched.
However, there is no need to worry, simply follow these simple steps. Your data won’t be harmed because app data on your Mac is never stored inside an application.
– Move the current application from the Applications folder to the trash and empty it
– Launch the Mac App Store
– Login with the account you used to buy the app
– Go to your profile
– Then view your purchase history and download your app again
In some cases, these steps are not sufficient because the Mac App Store faces two issues Apple is obviously not able to tackle. If a simple re-download still results in the error message, this is what to do:
