New account information service for iFinance at the end of June 2025

In June, we will change the provider of the account retrieval service from iFinance. Whereas previously “Tink” (Germany, some EU countries) and “Plaid” (international) provided the account connection, from now on it will be Plaid.

This requires a migration, which we will make as simple as possible for you. This only affects accounts that are accessed via Tink – not via HBCI/FinTS. We will provide you with further information in iFinance soon.

And why all this? Our experience over the last three years has shown that Plaid is much more reliable than Tink, which is why we have decided to take this step.

Unfortunately, credit cards accessed via Tink will no longer be supported, but HBCI/FinTS will of course continue to work. If you were dependent on it and subscribed for it, you can request a refund via the App Store support. Unfortunately, we cannot do this for you as we have no access to Apple’s payment processes.
