Please read the following General Terms and Conditions (“GTCT”) carefully. By ordering goods or services through this website or by registering on or with this website you agree that these GTCT shall apply exclusively to the business or legal relationship between you as our customer and us.

You can place an order by Credit Card or by PayPal. Within minutes a registration key is sent out by email to unlock your software.

How do I obtain my software?
After your purchase you'll receive a registration key by e-mail. Use this key to unlock the freely downloadable demo. If you didn't download the software yet, hit the download button at the top of the page to start the download. After the first launch you're asked to enter your registration key from the order receipt.

What happens if I loose my serial number? Do I have to buy again?
You do not need to buy the software again. If you lose your serial number, simply contact us by using the support section and we'll resend your key at no additional cost.

I bought a new Mac. How do I unlock my previously purchased software?
Simply download the free demo from our website to your new Mac and use your serial number in your order receipt to unlock the copy on your new Mac at no additional cost.

I want to try CleanApp before buying, what do I do?

Please use the download link above. The free trial version will only perform ten delete actions, all other features are fully functional. If you purchase CleanApp from our distribution partners, you'll receive an e-mail containing a serial number. Once you enter that number in CleanApp's registration dialogue, the limitation will be removed.

I downloaded CleanApp but can't install it properly

Double-click the installer file after the download has finished. The installation window will open. Please drag and drop CleanApp (the magnet icon) in your Applications folder in any case. This is mandatory for CleanApp to work properly. If instead you open the installer file every time and launch CleanApp from there, you might encounter problems during operation that donʼt occur when properly installed.

I own CleanApp 1,2 or 3. How can I update to CleanApp 4?

If you've bought CleanApp after June 1st 2012 you will automatically receive a new serial number for CleanApp 4 for free. If you've bought CleanApp after June 1st 2012 and have not received your new serial number yet please contact our support.
If you've bought CleanApp before June 1st 2012 you can purchase an update for just $4.99/3,59€ by clicking on the buy link above.

I need CleanApp both on my Desktop Mac and my portable Mac. Do I need a second license?

Our licensing model allows installation on two Macs as long as you're the sole user of CleanApp. License does not cover installing one license on several family members' Macs but family members may still use your Mac for other purposes.
