Styles

Styles are the core element and the heart of Logoist. Use them to modify the look of objects and groups – from fill colors to gradients and complex effects such as stitch effects, decorative effects including snow or sand and any type of glow or shading effect. Combine styles with individual objects or groups to create impressive designs in a flash.

Turn Shapes into 3D

Logoist 6 introduces a new 3D feature for displaying text, shapes, and clipart as 3D objects. This applies not only to individual elements but also to entire groups. Edges can be customized, objects rotated freely, and results exported in high resolution. A wide range of material settings is available, including options for lighting, reflections, and surface detail. Environment maps provide balanced illumination, while normal and bump maps add finer surface structure. Additional material properties such as sheen and anisotropy offer even more control over the final look.

Style Presets and Shared Styles

Logoist offers hundreds of ready-made styles for all object types including texts, shapes, paths, and groups. All style presets can be easily adapted and customized to your needs by using the “Preset Lab” feature. Logoist also makes it incredibly easy for users to create their own custom presets, so that the styles which you want to use on a regular basis are at your fingertips. Creating styles not just for individual shapes or groups, but globally for the entire project is also possible using "Shared Styles". When you modify one of these styles, the adjustments are immediately applied to all objects that are associated with that particular style. This is especially useful when you are using numerous objects with the same styles.

Templates and Samples

When you start Logoist 6, the welcome screen will show a comprehensive library containing sample documents and presets. It includes a wide variety of templates – from simple to incredibly ornate designs. You’re free to customize the images to your needs or to use one of the document presets to create greeting cards, logos, or collages. Decide on a color theme, enter your text, and you’re done!

Clip Art

Logoist’s comprehensive clipart collection includes more than 3000 small vector graphics with countless different themes including sports, technology, music, Halloween, Christmas – and many, many more. To further customize cliparts, simply convert them into paths. All effects and styles provided with Logoist can also be applied to cliparts.
