Databases can only be opened with the iFinance Database Manager. Per default iFinance saves the databases in the folder:

~/Library/Application Support/iFinance/iFinance3

The currently defined path is also displayed in the Database Manager.

Navigate to the database folder

The Library folder is hidden per default. To reveal the Library folder, please click "Go" in the top menu bar of the Finder and press "ALT" to make it available for selection.
