All data stays on your device and is processed locally. Then there's good news for you, as Logoist 5 for iPad fully supports the Apple Pencil – not just the first generation, but also the second generation of Apple's smart input device. Work with greater precision than ever before and use the Apple Pencil to control the entire app. Pressure, tilt, and rotation are all detected, as well as detecting when your pencil's tip is close to the display ("hover" to see what is going to be selected when you interact with elements or layers) – although these features require an Apple Pencil 2.

The Mac App Store does not permit offering apps with a reduced upgrade pricing. Logoist 5 for Mac requires macOS 11 Big Sur, macOS 12 Monterey, macOS 13 Ventura or macOS 14 Sonoma. Logoist 5 is fully optimized for the new M1-, M2- and M3-based Macs.

Logoist 5 for iPad and iPhone supports iOS 15, iOS 16 and iOS 17. The "Hover" feature requires an Apple Pencil (Second Generation) and a compatible iPad (for example, an iPad Pro 2022).
