I always get the yellow warning signs next to the dates I enter. What does that mean?

The yellow warning signs indicate that the date format you use isn't recognized. Default date formats are for example:

• 14.06.2010
• 06/14/2010
• June 14, 2010

MacFamilyTree allows you to define your own date formats. This process is described in a step-by-step tutorial in the Preferences chapter in MacFamilyTree's User Guide.
