The import of Quicken files (QIF) does not work properly. What went wrong?
Please make sure to select the correct date format of the QIF file you would like to import. The import menu displays an example of a date in the Quicken file.
If the date format is not in the list of predefined date formats you can also define a custom date format. If the example date is 01.01.2011 for instance, you would write dd.MM.yyyy in the input field for the date format definition.
When you specify a custom date format , you have to stick to a certain standard which Apple recommends for date formats. Otherwise the date is not displayed correctly.
- Day = dd
- Month = MM (mm is wrong)
- Year = yyyy
